Getting registered on the killboard
This is a private, alliance level killboard. Only those can post to it who qualify.
In order to get a login to this board, someone else has to make one for you. Each corp has at least one member on the killboard who is the "Corporate admin" of the corp. He can add / remove users belonging to his own corporation. So, if you wanna get a login, you have to find your corporate admin (ask around in your corp) or you can contact one of the killboard bosses and beg there.
If you have the feeling that your corp doesn't have a corporate admin yet, contact one of the killboard admins and he will assign one.

How ISK values (destroyed, etc) are calculated
When determining the ISK value of a given ship, we only take the ship into account, not the modules (yet). The formula for the loss is the following:
[ship value] = [market price] + [insurance cost] - [insurance payout]
Variables:
- insurance payout: CCP gave it in form of the EVE data export
- insurance cost: insurance cost is always exactly 30% of the insurance payout (premium insurance)
- market price: in case of tech1 ships, the killboard calculates with the base price of the ships. This method is approximately ok for the tech1 ships but is way off for the tech2 ones. So, for figuring out the tech2 market prices, the killboard regurarily synchronizes its price database with Nagamazon.com, the leading tech2 supplier of the galaxy.
